Biosimilars backed by science

Biosimilars undergo rigorous testing through clinical trials to ensure they deliver the same clinical benefits as the reference biologic.

Biosimilars are evaluated and approved by the same trusted regulators as reference biologics, such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Both the FDA and EMA have confirmed that patients and healthcare providers can rely on biosimilars to be as safe and effective as the reference biologic.

These include regular audits of our suppliers to confirm that they follow the same rigid quality standards and all applicable regulations that we do.

We also have a unique three-tier audit system in which our sites undergo audits from our local, division, and global teams, to ensure the highest quality of our medicines and ensure all the latest quality upgrades are incorporated.
